The Hope Lions Club rolled onto the Hope High School campus Tuesday to provide students taking the ACT Aspire assessment with a free chicken sandwich and French fries lunch. The Lions are known throughout southwest Arkansas for their fried catfish and chicken dinners that are the heart of numerous civic and charitable events. Some 300 HHS students and faculty enjoyed the lunch, according to HHS Principal Donald Patton. The Hope club holds the distinction as historically the largest Lions Club in Arkansas. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
