William R. Bill Montgomery age 53, was arrested at approximately 4:25 pm Monday on a warrant issued by Circuit Judge Duncan Culpepper for Cruelty to Animals, and endangering the welfare of a minor. Mr. Montgomery was booked into the Hempstead County Jail at approximately 5:19 pm he appeared before Circuit Judge Duncan Culpepper and was released at approximately 7:05 PM.

A special Prosecutor has been requested to review the case and determine the final charges Mr. Montgomery will face. All further request for information in the case will come from the special prosecutor appointed to handle the case. At this time, we do not know who will be appointed as special prosecutor.
