The Nevada Blue Jays boys team won their conference championship in Strong this past week by defeating Dermott 73-68 in comeback fashion. The Blue Jays are back in action Wednesday night in round one of the regional tournament at 8:30 against Mount Ida at the Lafayette County gym.

The Nevada Blue Jays girls team defeated Bearden in the 3rd place game 53-39 Friday in Strong. With the win Friday night, the Lady Blue Jays play Thursday at 7:00pm against Kirby at Lafayette County.

The Spring Hill boys are set to square off with the Redbugs from Fordyce Wednesday at 5:30 in Fordyce. The Bears defeated Horatio 52-36 this past week to earn a spot in the regional tourney for the first time in 10 years.

The Lady Bears from Spring Hill are set to face off against Rison Thursday night in Fordyce at 7:00. The Lady Bears earned a trip to the regional tournament by defeating Dierks last week in the conference tourney.
