Love's Travel Stop additions to open late September, company says
The additions to the Love’s Travel Stop at I-30 Exit 46 north of Prescott will be opened in late September, according to Love’s Media Relations Specialist Brett Dawson, and will make for a store that is 13,000 square feet.

Dawson confirmed that a Bojangles restaurant will be featured in the store. To the back will be a Speedco, which services diesel trucks. Another addition will be a Love’s Truck Wash.

A little after 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, dozens of workers could be seen at various tasks around the two new buildings, from finishing the construction of the roads leading into the area from ___ to preparations for landscaping.

Asked Love’s reasons for expanding its Prescott location, Dawson said, “Love’s Travel Stops are located across the country in locations that are easy to access for casual customers and professional drivers. The location in Prescott meets those criteria.”

Bojangles is a chain of cajun-spiced fried chicken restaurants that originated in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1977 and now has 818 locations, mostly in the southeastern U.S.

Speedco is described as a service that adds to what Love’s Truck Care already provides. A press-release describing the opening of Speedco locations in Oklahoma last year said the “locations offer tire, lube and light mechanical services, as well as DOT inspections, for professional drivers and fleets at affordable prices.”

Love’s Truck Wash will also be added to what is available at the Prescott location. Love’s website says this service will offer “an efficient and cost effective way to wash your truck or RV and get you back on the road quickly.”
