Monica began the tournament with a convincing 6-0, 6-0 win over Presley Weep of Warren. Bobo then would win her 2nd round match 6-0, 6-4 win over Haiden Harris of Southside Batesville to advance to the State Semi-Finals. 

Monica squared off against Emma Shepard of Brookland in the Semis and suffered her first loss of the year 3-6, 3-6 in a very tough match. The loss sent Bobo into the 3rd Place game, where she beat Jill Jordan of E-Stem school in Little Rock 8-5 to claim 3rd place. 

Monica was named to the All-State Tennis team this year and the sophomore is ready for her next opportunity to win it all in her junior and senior seasons. Congratulations to Monica on a great season and we all are excited to see where your hard work, dedication, and talent takes you.
