Hope, Ark. – The commitment to bringing quality entertainment at affordable rates continues at Hempstead Hall this  fall with five remaining movies. All movies are offered for $4 per person (all ages), except Coco where donations will be  accepted.

Coco Sat - Oct 2, 2021 - 6:30pm CDT

In lieu of ticket prices, donations will be accepted for a scholarship fund being established by the University of Arkansas  Hope-Texarkana Multicultural Student Association. 

Despite his family’s generations-old ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his  idol Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead.  After meeting a charming trickster named Héctor, the two new friends embark on an extraordinary journey to unlock  the real story behind Miguel’s family history. This film is rated PG.

Cruella Sat - Oct 16, 2021 - 7:00pm CDT 

Estella is a young and clever grifter who’s determined to make a name for herself in the fashion world. She soon meets a  pair of thieves who appreciate her appetite for mischief, and together they build a life for themselves on the streets of  London. However, when Estella befriends fashion legend Baroness von Hellman, she embraces her wicked side to  become the raucous and revenge-bent Cruella. This film is rated PG-13.

In the Heights Sat - Nov 6, 2021 - 7:00pm CDT 

Usnavi is a bodega owner who longs to go back to his native Dominican Republic. In the meantime, he spends his time in  a small neighborhood in Washington Heights pining after Vanessa, a beautiful lady working at the beauty salon and  looking after Abuela Claudia, the elderly Cuban lady living next door who raised him, among many others. One day,  Usnavi’s childhood friend Nina comes back from college with a secret, and Abuela Claudia wins the lottery. This film is  rated PG-13.

Space Jam: A New Legacy Fri - Nov 12, 2021 - 6:30pm CDT 

A rogue artificial intelligence kidnaps the son of famed basketball player LeBron James, who then has to work with Bugs  Bunny to win a basketball game. This film is rated PG.

ELF Sat - Dec 4, 2021 - 6:30pm CDT “SANTA! I know him!” – Buddy the Elf  

Come meet Santa and Buddy the Elf at Hempstead Hall on Saturday, December 4! Enjoy hot cocoa with peppermints and  marshmallows during the movie. Santa will be available for pictures at 5:00; the movie begins at 6:30. Buddy (Will  Ferrell) was accidentally transported to the North Pole as a toddler and raised to adulthood among Santa’s elves. Unable  to shake the feeling that he doesn’t fit in, the adult Buddy travels to New York, in full elf uniform, in search of his real father. As it happens, this is Walter Hobbs (James Caan), a cynical businessman. After a DNA test proves this, Walter  reluctantly attempts to start a relationship with the childlike Buddy with increasingly chaotic results. This film is rated  PG.
