John Paul and Emilee Smith and their newborns Mason and Anna Smith

Meet Anna and her twin brother Mason. Mason and Anna are 1 month old, and have spent some time in the NICU working towards coming home to mommy and daddy.

Anna and Mason are the newborn twins of John Paul and Emilee Smith of Texarkana. Grandbabies to Greg and Robin Kidd of Spring Hill, Mark and Lynn Smith of Rosston and Daryl and Sara Kelsey of Louisiana.

Mason has been home for a week now but Anna has a long hospital stay ahead of her. She was born with PRS (Pierre Robin Sequence) causing her to have an under developed bottom jaw and a cleft palette. She will be spending the next few months in Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

In order to offset their $12,000 deductible, help pay for travel to/from the hospital and necessities, their family and friends are having a garage sale fundraiser on Saturday, October 10 starting at 7am. It will be located at the Hub in Downtown Hope, AR. The garage sale will consist of clothes, shoes, home decor, baked goods like cakes and cookies. Be sure to stop by and find some bargains while helping out this little family.
