Murder Suspect Arrested by Hope Police Department

On Monday, May 27th, 2024, Cortez Rhodes turned himself into investigators at the Hope Police Department. Rhodes was wanted on a 1st Degree Murder warrant stemming from the shooting death of James Deloney on May 8th, 2024.

Rhodes was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.
