The Nevada County Quorum Court met for their August meeting last night, and SWARK.Today has the full meeting that can be watched above. Highlights of the night include the following.

Court members passed an appropriation ordinance that gives full-time law enforcement officers a one-time stipend of $5,000. This is in accordance with Act 224 0f the 2022 Fiscal Session of the Arkansas Legislature.

Judge Glass updated court members on the Nubbin Hill Bridge Project and said the structure was on the way

Citizen Joyce Banks addressed the Quorum Court about concerns regarding the Nevada County Sheriff's Office
