Nevada Drops 5-Set Thriller on Sr. Night to Foreman
Nevada- The building was electric on Tuesday as the Lady Jays welcomed the Lady Gators for senior night. The match went the distance, as Nevada got the match going as they won the opening set 25-19. Foreman would win set two 25-16 to even the match after two. The next two sets would be split as Nevada won the third set 25-19, but Foreman would sneak away with the fourth set 25-23 to set up a fifth and final set. The final set went down to the wire, but Foreman found a way late as they won the game-winning set 15-13. "You could barley hear anything, our student section was amazing last night, really loud," Coach Hannah Halliday said about the student section on Tuesday night. 

CJ McCallie was really dominant at the net with 8 kills and 2 blocks, McCallie also added 7 aces and 2 digs. Jill Pinner had 2 kills and 1 block, as well as 6 aces and 2 digs. Karleigh Carlton had a great night at the service line with 5 aces, as well as some other great plays on the court. Zette Brown had 4 kills, 2 blocks, 3 aces, and 2 digs. Alisha Gulley had 3 aces and 2 digs, while Bella English had 1 ace and 1 dig. The Lady Jays fought hard on Tuesday and they should be a dangerous team as the season heads to the District Tournament. 

In the JV game, the Lady Jays won in 3 sets, 25-13, 16-25, and won the final set 15-5. Bella Petite led the way with 7 aces and Yasmine Harris had 2 kills at the net and 2 aces. Adrianna Russell had 3 aces, Leymy Contreras, Shatara Christopher, and Keirston Burks each had 2 aces, and Reese Hughey added 1 ace. 

In the Jr. High game, the Lady Jays dropped the match in two sets. Jayde Murry had 2 aces and 1 dig. Gracy Hunt had 1 ace and Gabby Evans had 1 dig.
