Nevada Drops Tough Game to Mt. Ida 4-2
Mt. Ida- The Blue Jays traveled to Mt. Ida on Friday night to take on the defending state runner-up Lions. Nevada got some good work out of Tristan Griffith, as he toed the slab for the Blue Jays and tossed 5 innings, allowing just 2 runs, while punching out six batters. Mt. Ida would take advantage of a couple late errors on Friday and would beat the Jays 4-2. Brogan Rhodes came in a pitched the last inning and struck out 2 batters. At the plate, Brogan Rhodes and Braylon Srebalus each had a hit and 2 stolen bases. Srebulus drove in a run as well for the Jays and Justin Myrick showed off his speed as he swiped a bag as well.

The Blue Jays are back in action on Tuesday as they head to Kirby for a key district matchup against the Trojans.
