Taylor- The Lady Jays traveled to Taylor for a match with the Lady Tigers on Tuesday. Taylor would go on to win the match in straight sets 8-25, 11-25, 7-25. Taylor is a very good opponent, but the Lady Jays fought hard. Jillian Pinner had 2 blocks, 2 digs, and 3 aces, and CJ McCallie had 2 blocks and 1 dig. Zette Brown had 2 digs and 1 ace, while Karleigh Carlton had 2 digs, and Alisha Gulley and Bella English each had 1 dig.
In the JV game, Nevada almost won the first set as they fell just short 21-25 and Taylor won the 2nd set 9-25. Yasmine Harris and Carlee Clark each had 1 kill, Adrianna Russell had 1 ace, and Bella Petite had 1 dig.
Jr. Girls dropped a tough match 14-25 and 9-25. Addie Ridling and Gracie Hunt each had 1 dig and 1 ace. Gabby Evans had 1 ace and Jayde Murry had 1 dig. The Jr. Girls played extremely hard in this match.
Nevada is back in action next Monday at Garrett Memorial.
