Lafayette Co.- The Blue Jays traveled to Lafayette County High School Wednesday night for a round 1 matchup with Mount Ida. Nevada took the lead early and ran away with it, routing Mount Ida 71-37. Brycten Harris torched the nets for 19 points including 3 three pointers. Jalen Lowe and Cardiaire Adair scored 10 points each. LaQualen Christopher had an all-around great night with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Nevada advances to play Friday night in Lafayette County at 8:30 against the winner of Bradley and Bearden, which takes place tonight.
