After each of the 16 couples had their names and information read by Nevada High Principal Carol Foster over the PA system of the Nevada gym, a tiara was placed on senior Alisha Gulley’s head. She is the school system's 2026 Homecoming Queen.  

The ceremony marks one of the highlights of Homecoming Week, which was scheduled to culminate Thursday evening with another presentation ceremony followed by the 17-7 6-1 in conference play Blue Jays basketball team hosting Mineral Springs.
