Coach Jamario Bell preaches the importance of the first half of the third quarter and in this game his team was trailing only five at the half. But Nevada found themselves down 17 headed into the final quarter after being outscored by 12 in the third.
Nevada did a great job getting good looks offensively, but a lot of shots rattled in and out. Bradley did more of the little things right than the Blue Jays on Tuesday, including creating multiple second chance opportunities.
Initially, the defense for Nevada was actually pretty good in forcing a lot of missed shots, but they had a hard time keeping Bradley off the offensive glass. On offense, Keyonte Wingfield led the Blue Jays in scoring with 16 points, Kavion Coleman had 14 points, Cardi Adair and Justin Myrick each had eight.
Nevada has its homecoming game on Friday night as it hosts Morrilton.
