Nicholas Ward, candidate for Hempstead County County Clerk, released the follow statement Sunday morning:

"What I will bring to the table is Keep the County Clerks office moving forward, Working with the Budget Committee, Stay Updated on the Laws, Handle all voter Registration and Elections, Improve some Computer Programs and Balance the Office Checkbook and Reports. Keep the Office into the Electronic World. Help with the Employees with there paper work when they get ready to Retire as well as Record county Court Documents; issues and Record Marriage licenses and Make sure everything is down to a PENNY before I leave the office."
