Around 11:30 am this morning Hempstead County Waste and Sanitation employees were picking up a trash container at Foster Farms on Experiment Station Road, when the trash in the back of the vehicle went up in flames.

The fire created a massive blaze, causing the vehicle to ignite as well. Thankfully, no sanitation workers were injured during the inferno. The flames have settled to a minimum at this time and they are working to secure the scene.

The Hope Fire Department responded, along with Hempstead County Deputies and The Arkansas State Police.
