Not Feeling Like Yourself This Winter?

Winter can be a challenging time. With factors like fewer hours of daylight and stress about the holidays, it’s common to have feelings of depression and anxiety — both of which can be compounded by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Know the signs of seasonal depression.

It’s important to recognize signs of depression, both in yourself and your loved ones. These may include:

  • Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness

  • Loss of energy

  • Appetite or weight changes

  • Changes in sleep patterns

  • Anger or irritability

You’re not alone.
We care about the whole you — body and mind. We encourage you to speak with your physician, psychiatrist or a licensed counselor. Plus, the CDC offers tips for coping with stress, which often contributes to depression.
