Office of Outdoor Recreation Listening Session Scheduled in Hope!
The Arkansas Office of Outdoor Recreation is going on a tour across the state! Throughout 2024, they'll be hosting Outdoor Recreation Regional Listening Sessions in different communities. These sessions have two main goals: sharing resources and gathering information.

Katherine Andrews and her team will give short presentations about resources available to communities and industries. But they also want to hear from the public. They're interested in knowing which resources communities are using and what more they might need.

The first meeting will take place at Hempstead Hall in Hope, AR on March 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event is open to everyone, but it's especially aimed at members of the community and the outdoor recreation industry in the area. This includes groups like advocacy groups, mayors, county judges, city councils, chambers of commerce, as well as businesses like bike shops, boat manufacturers, river guides, duck lodges, outfitters, and anyone interested in starting an outdoor recreation business.

Please share this information with your friends and neighbors, and encourage anyone involved in outdoor recreation to come along. This is the only workshop scheduled for the Southwest Arkansas region right now, so spreading the word is important!
