An Illinois woman was injured during an accident on I-30 this evening. At approximately 5:52 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 911 dispatch was notified of an accident at the 1-30 West bound 35 mile marker.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement, a Ford Explorer was observed in the wood line to the right of the interstate.

According to the male driver, he was traveling west in the inside left lane when his front tires started to vibrate, causing him to lose control and veer across the right lane. The vehicle then went off the shoulder into the wood line, where he struck a tree.
