On Monday August 24, 2020 at approximately 12:31 pm Hope Central Dispatch received a call in reference to an accident that occurred on Highway 355 South of McNab, AR.

According to law enforcement officials that were on the scene, a 2019 Ford F150 was traveling south on Highway 355 when the driver of the vehicle lost control, crossed the center line, then traveled several hundred feet coming to a stop in the ditch on the east side of the highway.

The driver, whose name has not been released is from the Texarkana area and did sustain some injuries in the accident. He was transported by Pafford Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital.

The accident was investigated by Arkansas State Trooper Trevor Dew. Trooper Dew was assisted by The Hempstead County Sheriff's Department along with the Fulton, Guernsey and Crossroads Volunteer Fire Departments.
