Early information advises that she had been driving West on highway 299 when she lost control of the vehicle in a curve, overcorrecting causing her to cross the centerline, upon entering the East bound ditch the Buick got sideways then flipped upside down.

The driver was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries by Pafford Ambulance Service. There were no other passengers in the vehicle. Arkansas State Trooper Darren Henley is investigating the accident. The Hope Police Department, Hempstead County Deputies and the Perrytown Volunteer Fire Department was also on the scene to assist.
