HOPE – The beginning of year STAR literacy and math assessment required for all public school students in Arkansas will be administered on campus at Beryl Henry Elementary School for all BHE Hope from Home Virtual Academy students.

The assessment will be conducted in two sessions Sept. 22 at 8:30 a.m. for fifth grade students and Sept. 23 at 8:30 a.m. for sixth grade students.

“The assessment will be given in the Beryl Henry cafeteria,” BHE Principal Dr. Roy Turner said. “Virtual students will need to come to campus for testing and bring their Chromebook. And, they need to be sure their Chromebook is fully charged.”

Dr. Turner said parents should bring students through the BHE car line at 8 a.m., and return to pick up students in the car line at 9:45 a.m. All students will be temperature screened upon entry to the building.

Parents should contact the BHE main office for other information or with questions at 870-777-6222.
