Operation "A Hug in a Box"

In order to keep customers, families and people in general connected during this time when many are isolated from loved ones, Martin's in Hope has created Operation "A Hug in a Box."

You can send a little box of love to a family member, teen, grandchild or a friend without even having to shop. All you need to do is send Martins the age and sizes of the person on your list and they will assemble and ship a box for your loved one.

As they send invoices, they are utilizing a questionnaire about the person to whom the box will be shipped to get a better idea of their likes/dislikes before filling the box with items that will make them smile.

On Martin's Facebook page, they said they have a store full of Easter treats, gift items for all ages, bath accessories, and tees that they can put together. They also remind everyone that self care is important too, so be sure to order a box for yourself.

Each box will be a surprise but they will choose the items based on the details you provide about each person and their individual box.

You can find more information on their Facebook page, at this particular post HERE https://www.facebook.com/groups/shopmartins/permalink/2298820263759166/

Along with "Operation Hug in a Box" Martin's is collecting donations for Hope in Action while they are still open.

For each can, box, jar or bag donated they are offering a 20% discount on one regularly priced item. If you just want to donate for the sake of helping, you can bring donations by their store between 10 am- 7 pm and they will take the items to Hope in Action.

If you do not want to get out of your vehicle, they will come to you but they ask if you are feeling ill to please avoid coming as they are working vigilantly to keep their staff and families safe.

"We expect food pantries to be hit hard in the coming days and we want to encourage you to donate if you can. " Martin's said on their Facebook page.

Martin's in Hope is located at 914 N. Hervey St. in Hope. Let's all pull together to aid them in their mission to help our local Hope in Action.
