Prescott Ahead in First Half, 12-3

The first half of the State Finals went well for the Curley Wolves, as the wind at War Memorial Stadium proved to be a crucial factor against both teams.

With winds sometimes clocking about 15 miles per hour, the boys from Prescott did their best to overcome both Harding Academy and Mother Nature in the last game of the 2021 season.

Harding Academy were first to put points on the scoreboard, gaining three points as Prescott denied them a touchdown, but failing to block the Wildcats’ kicker, who proved to be the MVP for Harding in the first half.

However, once the second quarter put the wind at the Curley Wolves’ backs, they managed to snag two touchdowns in the first half, putting the score at 12-3 in favor of Prescott at halftime.
