The defense got a lot of huge stops on third down and the pass rush got after the quarterback. The secondary played great and Lavonte Gleason had an INT, as the "No Fly Zone" allowed very little on Friday night. The linebacking group put its mark on the game early, and the younger players finished the game strong to keep the shutout intact.
Ja'Noah Harris had another great game on the ground as he had 110 yards and three touchdowns in the first half. Pierce Yates threw for 105 yards and two TDs, including the first score of the game on a 24-yard touchdown pass to PJ Gulley. D'Wayne White had three catches for 53 yards and a touchdown. KJ Page ran for 65 yards, including a touchdown.
Rocco Patrick got his name in the box score for passing as he found D'Wayne White for a first down on a 34 yard pass. Tiquan Box ran the ball hard as he had 31 yards on four carries. The offensive line played great as they moved the ball at will early on. John Rabadan was 5/5 on PATs and brother David Rabadan was 1/1.
