DeCari Prater and D'Wayne White led the way for Prescott as they combined for 48 points, with White leading all scorers with 25 points and Prater pouring in 23 points, as Prescott began the season 1-0 with a big win over the Hornets. Marketric Mixon added 13 points.Â
For the Hornets, four players scored in double-digits with Dee Page leading the way with 20 points. Xavier Bazzelle poured in 18 points, Sean Rohan scored 12 and Charles Hatchett added 11 points.Â
Both teams were back in action on Friday night, as Prescott played Arkansas High and Blevins played against Mount Ida.Â
