Prescott, Blevins Play for First Time in Years, Wolves Beat Hornets 67-63
Blevins- There was a lot of anticipation leading up to the game on Thursday night between Prescott and Blevins, as they have not played a game against each other since the early 2000s. The gym was jam packed and they players were fueled by the energy in the building, as both teams did a great job of getting up and down the court. The game was close the entire way through, but Prescott made some big plays late in the fourth quarter to grab the lead late, and eventually win the game 67-63.

DeCari Prater and D'Wayne White led the way for Prescott as they combined for 48 points, with White leading all scorers with 25 points and Prater pouring in 23 points, as Prescott began the season 1-0 with a big win over the Hornets. Marketric Mixon added 13 points. 

For the Hornets, four players scored in double-digits with Dee Page leading the way with 20 points. Xavier Bazzelle poured in 18 points, Sean Rohan scored 12 and Charles Hatchett added 11 points. 

Both teams were back in action on Friday night, as Prescott played Arkansas High and Blevins played against Mount Ida.
