The night sky was bright and the air filled with excitement during the annual Prescott fireworks show Tuesday night at the Prescott High School Stadium.  The City of Prescott and the Prescott Nevada  County Chamber of Commerce hosted  the event to provide free family entertainment for the Fourth of July holiday. The dazzling display of lights was not the only draw of the night since there was also  music and food trucks for guests to enjoy before the main event.

And the kiddos were not disappointed either. They, along with the rest of their families, could be seen watching the  display intently.  Many an “ooh”  and “ah” could be heard as everyone enjoyed the show... As the event concluded and guests headed back to their vehicles, more than one youngster could be heard saying, “That was cool!”
