Prescott High School Announces Highest Honors and Honor Graduates
Prescott School District is pleased to announce our Highest Honor and Honor graduates that will be graduating from Prescott High School on Thursday, July 2 at 7:00 p.m.

2020 Prescott Highest Honor graduates are:

Brooke Avery Burton is the daughter of Kiley Burton and Monica Burns. Brooke is a member of the Curley Wolf band, FBLA, NHS and Key Club. Brooke plans to attend Henderson State University and study music education

Sara Lynn Cobb is the daughter of Dustin and Valarie Cobb. Sara is a member of the Curley Wolves cheer team, Lady Wolves track team, FCA, Key Club, PHS EAST, Gifted & Talented program and NHS. Sara plans to attend Lyon College and major in psychology.

Christopher Lane Dalrymple is the son of Al Dalrymple and Teresa Hall. Lane is a member of the Curley Wolves track team, PHS EAST, NHS and Key Club. Lane plans to attend Arkansas State University Beebe and pursue a medical degree.

Eva Sophie Delgado is the daughter of Sebastian and Sofia Delgado. Sophie is a member of the Curley Wolf band, Key Club, NHS and FCCLA. Sophie plans to attend Henderson State University and major in elementary education.

Tyler Matthew Doucet is the son of Lee and Lauren Doucet and Heather Doucet. Tyler is a member of Curley Wolves golf and track team, FBLA, FCA, NHS and Key Club. Tyler plans to attend Lyon College and major in business.

Abigail Marie Dougan is the daughter of Dennis and Kelly Dougan. Abigail is a member of the Lady Wolves basketball and track team, FBLA, NHS and Key Club. Abigail plans to attend the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana and major in biology.

Maggie Clariece Grimes is the daughter of Kevin and Kimberly Grimes. Maggie is a member of Lady Wolves basketball team, Key Club and NHS. Maggie plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in pre-veterinary medicine.

Emily Grace Henderson is the daughter of David and Shannon Henderson. Emily is a member of the Curley Wolves cheer team, Lady Wolves track team, NHS, FCA and Key Club. Emily plans to attend Henderson State University and major in health and nutrition.

Taylor E. Johnson is the daughter of Mark and Kelly Johnson. Taylor is a member of Curley Wolves cheer team, Key Club, FCCLA, Leo Club and NHS. Taylor plans to attend Arkansas State University and major in nursing.

Kashia Lily Ly is the daughter of Nhia and Neng Ly. Kashia is a member of the PHS Color Guard and NHS. Kashia plans to attend Southern Arkansas University.

Kabe Ryan Munn is the son of Kenny and Kelly Munn. Kabe is a member of NHS and PHS EAST. Kabe plans to attend Southern Arkansas University and major in computer science with cyber security emphasis.

Cade Austin Poole is the son of Tommy Poole and Lorrie Poole. Cade is a member of the Curley Wolves football and track team, FCA, FBLA and NHS. Cade plans to attend Henderson State University and major in nursing.

2020 Prescott Honor Graduates are:

Gabrielle Noel Chandler is the daughter of Marisa Masters and Joseph Chandler. Gabrielle is a member of Curley Wolves cheer team, NHS, Key Club and the Lady Wolves softball and track team. Gabrielle plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in physical therapy.

Destiny Hope Jones is the daughter of Daniel and Jennifer Jones. Destiny is a member of the Curley Wolves band, Talent Search and NHS. Destiny plans to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and major in English.

Marlee Alexis Morman is the daughter of Max and Wendy Morman. Marlee is a member of the Curley Wolves cheer team, Key Club, EAST and NHS. Marlee plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in nursing.

Trevor Ray Moseley is the son of James and Cathy Moseley and Amanda and Gary Don Faulkner. Trevor is a member of NHS. Trevor has joined the United State Army and will be serving his country.

Derriun D’Juah Thompson is the son of Lashondra Johnson and Derrick Thompson Sr. Derriun is a member of the Curley Wolves football, basketball and track team, Key Club, FCA, OBU talent search and NHS. Derriun plans to attend Tyler Junior College and major in physical therapy.

Carly Annette Vanhook is the daughter of Carlos and Talitha Vanhook. Carly is a member of NHS, FCCLA, OBU Talent Search and Gifted and Talented. Carly plans to attend the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff and major in marketing. 

Hope Alexis West has completed the Nevada County CNA program. Hope is a member of NHS. Hope plans to start a career in the nursing field and further her education in nursing.

5.16 - HONOR GRADUATES

Students desiring to graduate with “Honors” must complete the following requirements:

1. Must complete ten (10) of the following courses: Pre-AP English I, II; Chemistry; Physics; Algebra II, ​ ​III; Calculus; Advanced Math/Trigonometry, Spanish I, II, III; French I, II, III; Multimedia I, II; Computerized Accounting; Anatomy and Physiology; any AP courses or approved concurrent credit courses.

2. “Honor” graduates must satisfy the “Minimum Core Curriculum” as established by the Arkansas Department of Education.

Graduates with “Highest Honors” will have satisfied all of the above requirements for their graduating class who have attained a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 to 4.00 by the end of the first semester of their graduating year.

Graduates with “Honors” will have satisfied all of the above requirements for their graduating class and have attained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 to 3.89 by the end of the first semester of their graduating year.

Regular graduates will be the remaining students. Ranking will be based only on their GPA with no special consideration given to honor courses or course difficulty (including those students with fewer than ten honor credits). Class rank for these students will not be publicly announced but will be recorded on each graduate’s permanent record and available only to him/her or the authorized person receiving the transcript.

Highest Honor” and “Honor graduates will be recognized for their accomplishments. They will receive medallions at the commencement program. All graduates with “Highest Honors” will have a part in the graduation program. Graduates with “Honors” will be used beginning with the highest grade point average.

Transfer students to qualify for “Honors” recognition shall meet the following: 

1. Entering sophomores must meet our entire policy.

2. Transcripts will be evaluated against the Prescott School District Honors Policy – only classes recognized in this policy will be credited.

3. Advanced Placement (AP) classes as labeled by the College Board shall be the exception.
