Prescott Loses Tough Game to Dragons
Genoa- The Curley Wolves headed to Genoa on Monday night for a conference clash against the Dragons. Genoa used a 6-run second inning to take control of the game early. Prescott fought back in the top of the third inning to score 3 runs and cut the Dragons lead in half on a 3-run blast from Pierce Yates.

Spencer Hubbard did a great job throughout the middle innings of the game, not allowing runs and giving the offense a chance, but runs were difficult to come by, as the Dragons pitching limited opportunities. Genoa would tack on a few runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to put the game away as Prescott would fall to Genoa 10-3.

The Curley Wolves were led offensively by Pierce Yates and his 3-run HR. Marketric Mixon had a great day at the plate, as he smashed a double and 2 singles to lead Prescott in hits. Keegan Simmons and Dalton Stockton each had singles for Prescott. Wes Cornelius did a great job drawing multiple walks at the plate and scored a run.

The Wolves are back in action on Wednesday as they host Bismarck in a conference game.
