On November 18th, 2020 at 3:52am Officer with the Prescott Police Department along with a Deputy with the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Dollar General Store in reference to a commercial burglary alarm in Prescott Nevada County, Arkansas. 

Upon arrival officers observed a broken door glass out of the front main entrance door of the Dollar General Store. Officers then turned the investigation over to the Prescott Police Department Criminal Investigations Division.

While reviewing the Dollar General Store camera footage the Criminal Investigations Division made a positive identification of Gregory M. Edwards. Mr. Gregory Edwards was then located at 82 Hale Drive Apartments in Prescott, Arkansas. Mr. Edwards is being charged with Commercial Burglary, Breaking or entering, Criminal mischief in the second degree, and Theft of property. Mr. Edwards will be held for first appearance.
