Officer Jeremy Hendrix began his law enforcement career in November 2013 with the Nevada County Sheriff’s Department. From 2013 to 2016, Officer Hendrix worked as both a detention officer, as well as a communications officer for the sheriff’s department. In 2016, Hendrix completed training at the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in Camden, Arkansas. After obtaining his basic law enforcement certification, Officer Hendrix obtained training in criminal investigations and served as the county’s investigator before being promoted to a new assignment of K-9 Officer and has since being employed in this position he has obtained a rank of Sergeant. Officer Hendrix joined the ranks of the Prescott Police Department in 2021 as a part time patrol officer and continues to serve with the department. In addition to his law enforcement service to the community, Hendrix has also been employed as an Emergency Medical Technician with Nevada County Ambulance Service. He currently serves as a member of the Nevada County Rescue Unit, and also served 6 years with the Arkansas Army National Guard in Prescott.
