"They return 10 starters on their offense, including QB Ben Keithly, who is a really good player and he has some weapons in Preston Hughes and Caedman Keithley as well," Glass said as he spoke on the Lions offense. Prescott will be the best defense this Bismarck team has faced this season and the same can probably be said about Bismarck being the best offense the Wolves have faced this season. Should be a good matchup to keep an eye on, as the stingy Wolves defense has allowed next to nothing this season, Bismarck is averaging scoring just under 50 points a game in conference play. Great test for the Wolves defense and look for the Prescott pass rush to get after the QB, the linebackers to make tackles in the open field, and the secondary to continue to make the plays they have made all season, as this secondary is more than likely the most talented secondary in 3A.
On the offensive side of the ball for Prescott, expect a lot of the same, as the O-line has been playing extremely well, and the rushing attack of the Wolves has found the endzone 9 times the last two weeks. On the outside, look for the loaded WR group of D'Wayne White, Michael Brownlee, Spencer Hubbard, and Jay Monk to be ready to make plays when their number is called, like they have all season. DeCari Prater will look to continue his excellent play, coming off a 5-TD performance against Parkers Chapel last week. Prater has proved to be tough for any opponent this season, as he is very dynamic both in the pocket and outside of the pocket, and in the running game. Another fast start could be in the cards for this explosive Curley Wolves offense this week.
It is not every week you get a conference game with two programs with championship aspirations, but that is what is in store for everyone in this matchup. A top-5 matchup between Prescott and Bismarck. Kickoff is set for 7PM, as the lights will shine a little brighter this Friday night.
