Genoa- The Lady Wolves and Curley Wolves XC teams competed in the Dragon Country Invitational Saturday moring and had multiple top-10 finishes, including G’Mar Britton who ran away from the field once again as he won the Varsity boys race with a time of 18:10, 1:16 seconds faster than anyone else. Emari Britton ran a great race Saturday as she medaled with a 9th place finish in the Varsity girls’ event. Bennu Babacan finished in 31st place to round out the Varsity girls’ race. In the Jr. Girls event, Presley Kerby earned 5th place as she ran an excellent race. Violet Bright placed 16th, Arden Gonzales 21st, and McKenna Kerby 23rd. Saturday was a very good day for the Prescott XC program. They will be running in El Dorado this next Saturday.
