From the Prescott School District:
By Valarie Cobb
The month of January is designated by the governor as School Board Recognition Month to honor those individuals who serve Arkansas schools and their students. Prescott School District would like to take this time to recognize the Prescott School Board who voluntarily tackle the enormous job of governing our school district.Â
Being a school board member is often a thankless job. Board members are required to participate in annual training, contribute countless hours to fulfill their roles and responsibilities, establish and enforce policies all while having a students best interests at heart. They receive no compensation for the time and effort for these duties.Â
The Prescott School Board is made up of individuals who come together with the common goal of helping our students grow, learn, and enjoy their educational experiences. They are deeply involved in the Prescott community and spend many hours serving the Prescott School District and its students. Â
Our deepest appreciation is extended to Prescott School Board members Jo Beth Glass, Ryan Harvey, Michael Williams, Altha Palmer and Reed Koger whose commitment make them a dedicated public servant for Prescott School District and our community. Please join us by saying thank you to our school board members! Thank you for Impacting the Pack! #impactthepack #SchoolBoardRecognitionMonth #celebrateARschoolboards
