Glen Rose- The Curley Wolves jumped out to an early 5-0 lead and held on late to start conference play with a huge road victory as Carston Poole slammed the door on a late rally from the Beavers. Talan Smith started off the game on the mound for the Curley Wolves as he tossed 3 1/3 innings allowing only 2 hits and 2 ERs while striking out 4 hitters. Avery Hubbard pitched well in the middle innings to bridge the gap between Smith and Poole. Offensively Avery Hubbard smacked 2 doubles and a single to lead Prescott at the plate. Branen Bradley went 2-2 and walked twice reaching base in all four plate appearances. Keegan Simmons had 2 singles and an RBI. Once again the Curley Wolves show off their speed on the bases as they swiped 5 more bags Wednesday night. The Curley Wolves are back in action Monday as they play Haskell.
