Prescott Tops Homer 31-14
Prescott- The Curley Wolves played host to the Pelicans from Homer, Louisiana Friday night in a rematch of last years’ 9-0 Prescott victory. The game was very tight for the first half, but then the Curley Wolves turned it up a notch and pulled away in the second half to earn a 31-14 victory.

The Prescott defense was dominant Friday night as it allowed a score early and then would pitch a shutout until the end of the game. The front four played great, keeping the pressure on all game. The linebacking group played lights out as always, and the secondary was on complete lockdown Friday.

The offensive line did an excellent job protecting quarterback Pierce Yates, as he threw for 272 yards and four touchdowns. The Homer defense did force a couple of interceptions as they are a very physical and fast defense.

Jah’Noah Harris hauled in a 61-yard touchdown, PJ Gulley had another outstanding game with six catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns. DeCari Prater had four catches for 66 yards and one touchdown, and D’Wayne White had 31 total yards on offense with four catches and one carry. KJ Page had 30 yards on the ground and John Rabadan was 4/4 on points after touchdowns and made a 29-yard field goal in the first half. Great team win Friday night against a very good opponent, as Prescott continues to roll increasing their winning streak to six games and bringing their record to 7-1 (3-0). Prescott will travel to Smackover next Friday night. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm.
