The parade exceeded half an hour of vividly colored delight. Christmas on the Square included music, free servings of hot chocolate or, if you prefer, Grinch juice punch and a crowd alive with the spirit of music and the winter holidays.

Animal: Chase Dice and Dalton Stockton who rode horses. Cars and Trucks: M&M Power Wagon. Nine Feet and Up Float: First Central Baptist Church Bridge Kids and second Park Baptist Church.
The winner of the Christmas Tree-Eating Contest was Prescott Mayor Terry Oliver, who bested his competition by putting away nine, winning a steak dinner from Ko-Fields.
