Are you interested in raising rabbits? Hempstead County Cooperative Extension Service is offering a Rabbit Clinic on Monday, April 24, at 5 pm at the Horticulture Building at the Southwest Arkansas District Fairgrounds. The clinic is free and open to 4-H and FFA youth or anyone who is interested in learning more about raising rabbits. Little River County Agent, Bethany Barney Bailey, will provide the training.
Participants will learn how to select the right rabbit, care for your rabbit, hold and groom your rabbit, and get show ready. If you own a rabbit and would like to bring it with you to the clinic, it must be caged.
Pre-registration is required by Friday, April 21. To register, contact the Hempstead County Extension office at (870) 777-5771 or email Betty Wingfield at [email protected].
