FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas play-calling offensive coordinator Kendal Briles has turned down an opportunity to become the offensive coordinator at the University of Miami under new Hurricanes coach Mario Cristobal and will remain with Coach Sam Pittman’s Razorbacks, ESPN’s Chris Low reported Thursday.
Briles joined Pittman’s first Arkansas staff shortly upon Pittman’s December, 2019 hiring. Previously, Briles has been offensive coordinator at Baylor, the University of Houston and Florida State.
