FAYETTEVILLE - On social media Friday Arkansas Razorbacks starting quarterback KJ Jefferson posted “Pray for me as I go undergo surgery this afternoon.”
The anticipated minor arthroscopic surgery was designed to clean up an issue in Jefferson’s knee dating back to Arkansas’ 20-10 Sept. 25 SEC victory over Texas A&M at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium, Tom Murphy of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported Friday.
Jefferson played every game for the 9-4 Razorbacks despite the lingering injury.
