Ready for School Resource Call Center Opens

HOPE – A statewide resource center for parents to find Back to School in Arkansas information and tools has been established by the Arkansas Department of Education, Division of Elementary and Secondary Education.

The Ready for School Resource Call Center was announced by Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and ADE Commissioner Johnny Key as students in the Hope Public Schools and districts statewide prepare to begin the 2020-2021 academic year Aug. 24.

The call center is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday with both English (1-833-353-6050) and Spanish (1-501-218-4015) language lines.

The center is staffed by education and health professionals from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children’s Hospital, as well as volunteers from the Arkansas Bilingual Resource Network and other community partners.
