PHOTO CAPTION: ROC wants to give a big shout out to the Hope Police and State Police departments for participating in the recent Polar Plunge for Special Olympics. The event was held at the Sportsplex in Texarkana among a big turnout of "plungers" and their supporters. Each year, thousands of participants from around the country take to the frigid waters to help raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics. Their goal is to bring opportunities and awareness to the more than 19,500 Special Olympics athletes in Arkansas with the local area games to be held at the Hope High School track field in mid-April.  ROC is a big supporter of the Polar Plunge and Special Olympics and salutes all those who took part.
