ROC TO BEGIN SUMMER HIRING WAVE WITH NEW WORK SCHEDULES & HIGHER PAY RATE
Rainbow of Challenges, Inc. (ROC) officials are pleased to announce the planning of a summer hiring wave offering new work schedules and a higher starting pay rate. New applicants in the Residential Waiver or Day Services components will be interested in a schedule to work four days and then be off four days. Shifts will be from 8:00 a.m-8:00 p.m. and from 8:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. for those working overnight with Residential clients. The 12-hour shifts also feature a starting pay rate of $14/hr., which is a considerable mark-up from previous starting pay rates. New employees will be thoroughly trained in their specific areas and can be assured that support from veteran employees and supervisors will be available.
“This new work schedule and pay rate have been introduced to some current employees at ROC and they seem to love it,” said long-time ROC official Dorene Mosier. “We are excited to offer it to new hires and provide them with a good work week that fits well along with a rewarding rate of pay.” Interested applicants may go to the ROC Facebook page and website at www.rocoh.org for more information and to apply online. Applications are also available at the ROC Administration building located at 500 S. Main Street in Hope.
