Rocktown Youth Board Accepting Applications for Non-Profit Development

Rocktown of Hope is a non-profit organization that is setting out on a mission to amplify youth voices in rural Arkansas.

In a place called Hope, we are creating a new youth space for our community in the Historic Brundidge/Scott's Building at 105 West 2nd Street in downtown Hope. Rocktown is set to open in Fall 2024 with a youth makerspace, academic supports, and a student run evening cafe.

What makes us different from other youth spaces?

Rocktown of Hope will be a space for youth, that has been created by youth.  The Rocktown Youth Board will shape what the next generation youth space in downtown Hope becomes.

Members will serve as the guiding voices as the youth center is transformed from shell to a place of opportunity.

The application process is open to any Hempstead County students in grades 10 through 12. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will close once a full board is selected. Youth can apply at www.rocktownofhope.org.
