Roving reporter captures Halloween costumery in Hope
I stopped first at Heather Manor this afternoon and found a party in progress at the residential care home as costumed staff entertained:

Staffers and volunteers who weren't dressed as creatures and characters were dressed as some of our favorite drugs. (Pepto is mine).

From left to right are Leslie Golden, Sue Atchley, LaTonya Mixon, Terry Coffee, Alicia Reed, Shandria Brown, Tricia Long and Kathy Marshall. All are staffers or volunteers at Heather Manor.

Then at the Hempstead County Library, I found a coven of witches dispensing books and playing games with patrons.

I then drove uptown to Beards and Shears where I had a haircut and met  a Halloween kitty cat, Elvis and an officer of the law.

Tonight my plans are to attend the Pafford/Hope Police Department Trunk and Treat at 6:00 p.m. at the Fair Park to show off my own costume. See you there and Boo.
