Saline Health System transfers MedTran ambulance service to Pafford Medical Services
BENTON, Ark. (May 2, 2025) - Saline Health System and Pafford Medical Services finalized an agreement to transition the hospital's MedTran Ambulance Service to Pafford effective April 26. MedTran provides medical support for patients during transportation between Saline and other healthcare facilities, and with the transition complete, Pafford now assumes responsibility for these services.

Pafford Medical Services, a family-owned EMS provider founded in 1967, has grown into one of the largest and most trusted emergency medical services and medical transportation
organizations in the region. With more than 2,300 employees and a fleet of over 300 ground ambulances, the company also operates three helicopters, three fixed-wing aircraft and five communications centers across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma. From emergency response to non-emergency transports, Pafford's infrastructure and dedicated team reflect a continued investment in meeting the evolving healthcare needs of the communities it serves.
