Sanders Announces Appointments
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. —Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:   

Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy:

Don Curdie, of Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy. Term expires on August 17, 2028. Reappointment.

Richard Bell, of El Paso, to the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy. Term expires August 17, 2028. Reappointment.

Martin Gunaca, of Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Board of Public Accountancy. Term expires August 17, 2027. Replaces Denton Woods.


Crime Victims Reparations Board:

Bilenda Harris-Ritter, of Maumelle, to the Crime Victims Reparations Board. Term expires October 5, 2025. Replaces Molly Shepherd.

Jordan Snowden, of Little Rock, to the Crime Victims Reparations Board. Term expires October 5, 2026. Replaces Anthony Brewer.

Rebecca Petty, of Rogers, to the Crime Victims Reparations Board. Term Expires October 5, 2026. Replaces Janice Church-Jackson.


Arkansas Rice Research and Promotion Board;

Jeff Rutledge, of Newport, to the Arkansas Rice Research and Promotion Board. Term expires June 30, 2025. Reappointment.

James Whitaker, of McGehee, to the Arkansas Rice Research and Promotion Board. Term expires June 30, 2025. Reappointment.


Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board:

Donald Morton, of Des Arc, to the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board. Term expires June 30, 2025. Reappointment.


Boll Weevil Eradication Committee:

Joe Mencer, Lake Village, to the Boll Weevil Eradication Committee. Term expires July 1, 2027.  Reappointment.


Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission:

Mike Pallone, of Rose Bud, to the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. Term Expires January 14, 2028. Replaces Christopher Kauffman.


Arkansas County Quorum Court:

Mark Derden, of Stuttgart, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 7 of Arkansas County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Larry Gunnell.

Wade Hosman, of Stuttgart, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 8 of Arkansas County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Brandee Weaver.


Clark County Quorum Court:

David Forthman, of Arkadelphia, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 6 of Clark County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Mark Overturf.


Pope County Quorum Court:

Mary Metz-Blaylock, of London, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 6 of Pope County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Jamie Jackson.


Searcy County Quorum Court:

Michelle Hinchey, of Marshall, to serve as the Justice of the Peace for District 1 of Searcy County. Term expires December 31, 2024. Fulfills the remaining term of Ronald Ragland.
