Scout Troop 5 dedicated its new Troop flag September the 7th. The
original Troop flag was made in 1998 and has seen 23 years of meetings and
campouts.  The old flag will now officially be the travelling flag for Troop
trips. The new flag will be permanently flying in the Harlan Scout Center.
Scouts conducting the ceremony were Kody O'Brien, Riley Golden,
Makenzi Golden and Senior Patrol Leader Emma Wright.

Troop 5 is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church of Hope's Century
Bible Class.
