FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas guard Moses Moody was named the SEC Freshman of the Week Monday by the SEC Office in Birmingham, Ala.
Moody, 6-6 of Little Rock, helped the Razorbacks last Wednesday and Saturday defeat then nationally No. 6 Alabama and LSU at Walton Arena by averaging 21.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists for the games.
Moody posted career assists highs, four against Alabama and five against LSU, in both games and made 16 of 19 free throws scoring 24 points against Alabama and scored 18 points with five rebounds against LSU.
